The UK motorcycle market is about to get a serious shake-up. QJMotor is officially launching the all-new SRK125e on British shores, providing the UK with a much-needed option that combines eye-catching retro looks with stress-free urban engineering. Marketed as an easy introduction to life on two wheels, this new release packs a big personality into a commuter-friendly package.
Being a unique motorcycle, it's actually a massive change from many motorcycles, being one of the first of Moto73's lineup to include an Electronic Clutch.
The SRK125e is a naked sports bike of the 125cc class that brings a substantial change to the powertrain. It comes powered by a peppy 124cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces learner-friendly 7.10 bhp. QJMotor has paired this engine with a smooth CVT auto gearbox instead of a traditional manual clutch.
The twist and go layout makes riding through heavy traffic exceptionally easy. You get all the road presence and naked bike styling of a traditional motorcycle, but with the effortless operation of a modern scooter.
As for design, the SRK125e is inspired by retro "aircraft" styling with sharp, modern lines. It has premium, full LED lighting all around, a modern LED headlamp and a crisp, full-colour TFT dashboard that keeps all your critical stats bright and legible.
Its frame layout is the most fascinating engineering detail. The compact engine is pushed back in front of the rear wheel, so QJMotor has built a unique storage compartment directly underneath the main frame – right where a traditional motorcycle engine usually sits! It’s a brilliant piece of practical engineering for stashing the day’s essentials.
Its compact dimensions make it easy to cruise around city streets and country lanes. The bike tips the scales at a featherweight 106kg wet weight and has an accessible 745mm seat height to give confidence and stability to almost any height of rider.
• Fuel Capacity: Engine efficiency provides a long range with a 9L tank, letting you go anywhere you need without concerns on refuelling a ridiculous amount of times.
• Suspension: Telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers promise a nimble and comfortable ride over city potholes.
• Brakes: 220mm front and 200mm rear disk brakes offer adequate stopping power.
• Wheels: Sturdy alloy rims paired with a 12-inch front tyre and a 10-inch rear tyre help to maintain a solid grip on the road.
The best part? And hopping to a brand new machine won't break the bank. The QJMotor SRK125e is launched at a very competitive cash price of just £2,299 (+OTR). Attractive finance options are also expected to start from around £45.20 per month, making it an incredibly affordable alternative to public transport.
The bikes will be arriving at dealerships across the country, and so while you wait authorized stockist or to book a viewing, check out the official QJMotor UK Dealer Locator for yours.
